The past three weeks have been a whirlwind—challenging, exciting, and incredibly productive.
We landed in Perth with nothing more than a two-night Airbnb booking, and from there, the pace didn’t slow down. We stepped into an empty house, bought SIM cards, opened a bank account, rented a car, and then bought one—only to have our first accident soon after. We got connected to the internet, shared two wonderful Shabbat Shalom dinners with amazing people, and ordered (and assembled) a mountain of DIY furniture and equipment.

There’s still a long to-do list ahead, but slowly, things are beginning to feel steady.
Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much we’ve managed to squeeze into such a short time. These first weeks have been full of challenges, but also full of kindness, new connections, and small wins that already make Perth feel a little more like home. This is just the beginning of our adventure—and if the start is anything to go by, the journey ahead will be unforgettable.
